This Privacy Policy explains how MSPDock ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our client delivery platform at mspdock.com ("the Service").

2. Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email, company name, authentication credentials
Payment information: Billing details processed via Stripe (we do not store credit card numbers)
Client data: Client information, reports, quotes, invoices, agreements, and other business data you enter into the platform
Usage data: Feature usage, processing history, interaction logs
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device info, authentication cookies

3. How We Use Your Information

Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
Process AI-generated narratives, recommendations, and alert classifications
Process payments and manage subscriptions
Send transactional emails (report delivery, quote notifications, invoice reminders)
Provide customer support
Monitor and prevent abuse

We do not use your client data for training AI models, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the requested service. Your client data belongs to you.

4. Client Data Handling

All client data is stored with row-level tenant isolation — your data is logically separated from every other MSP on the platform. Access is restricted to your authenticated team members based on their assigned role (Owner, Admin, Engineer, Viewer).

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following categories of service providers:

Payment processor: Stripe
Authentication provider: Clerk
AI provider: Anthropic (for narrative generation and alert classification)
Email provider: Resend
Cloud infrastructure: Vercel, Cloudflare, Railway
Legal authorities: When required by law

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS/SSL encryption in transit, encryption at rest for all database storage, strict access controls, and regular security reviews.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and a theme preference cookie for light/dark mode. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

You may:

Request corrections to inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format

9. Data Retention

Account information is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal information is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. E-signature audit trails are retained as legally required.

Your data may be processed in locations outside your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to comply with applicable data protection laws.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
