Welcome to MSPDock

MSPDock is an all-in-one workspace for managed service providers. It brings monthly reports, quotes and proposals, invoices, agreements, and quarterly business reviews into a single platform — connected to your PSA and powered by AI.

Here is what you can do with MSPDock:

  • checkMonthly Reports — Generate branded, professional reports for every client. Pull ticket data and asset information from your PSA, and let AI write the executive summary.
  • checkQuotes & Proposals — Build quotes with live distributor pricing, intelligent markup rules, and e-signature acceptance.
  • checkClient Portal — Give every client a branded portal where they view reports, sign agreements, accept quotes, and pay invoices.
  • checkPSA Integrations — Connect Syncro, Autotask, and more to automatically import clients, tickets, and assets.

After signing up, you will land on the dashboard. From there, the typical workflow is:

  1. 1Connect your PSA (or add clients manually)
  2. 2Create your first monthly report
  3. 3Generate an AI executive summary
  4. 4Publish the report to the client portal
  5. 5Surface a hardware need and create a quote directly from the report

Creating your first client

Clients are the foundation of everything in MSPDock. Every report, quote, invoice, and agreement is linked to a client. There are two ways to add clients:

Option A: Import from your PSA

If you have already connected a PSA (Syncro, Autotask, etc.), you can import clients directly. Go to Settings → Integrations, select your PSA, and click Sync Now. Imported clients will appear in your client list with their company name, contact email, and phone number already populated.

Option B: Add manually

  1. 1Navigate to the Clients page from the sidebar
  2. 2Click the "New Client" button in the top right
  3. 3Fill in the company name, primary contact name, email, and phone
  4. 4Optionally add a street address and notes
  5. 5Click "Create Client"

Tip

If you plan to connect a PSA later, you can start by adding one or two clients manually to explore the platform. When you sync your PSA, MSPDock will match by company name and merge records where possible.

Understanding the dashboard

The MSPDock dashboard is the first thing you see after signing in. It provides a high-level overview of your MSP's activity across all clients.

Key sections

  • checkSidebar — The left sidebar is your primary navigation. It links to Clients, Reports, Quotes, Invoices, Agreements, QBRs, and Settings.
  • checkQuick Stats — At the top of the dashboard, you will see counts for active clients, pending reports, open quotes, and upcoming agreement renewals.
  • checkRecent Activity — A timeline of recent actions across your workspace: reports created, quotes sent, agreements signed, invoices paid.

Navigation tips

Click on any client name anywhere in MSPDock to jump to that client's detail page, which shows all reports, quotes, invoices, and agreements for that specific client.

Setting up your company branding

MSPDock shows your MSP's branding to your clients — not ours. Your logo, company name, and colors appear on the client portal, reports, quotes, invoices, and agreements.

Configuring your brand

  1. 1Go to Settings → Company from the sidebar
  2. 2Upload your company logo (recommended: PNG or SVG, at least 200px wide)
  3. 3Enter your company name, address, phone, and email — these appear on all client-facing documents
  4. 4Optionally choose a primary brand color for your client portal
  5. 5Click Save

Client portal branding

When a client opens their portal, they see your logo and company name — not MSPDock. On the Starter and Professional plans, a small "Powered by MSPDock" badge appears in the footer. On the Business plan, this badge can be removed for a fully white-labeled experience.

Custom domain (Business plan)

Business plan tenants can use a custom domain for their client portal (e.g., portal.yourmsp.com). To set this up:

  1. 1Go to Settings → Company → Custom Domain
  2. 2Enter your desired domain (e.g., portal.yourmsp.com)
  3. 3Create a CNAME record in your DNS pointing to custom.mspdock.com
  4. 4Click Verify — MSPDock will check the DNS record and activate your domain
